In January 2012 I was hired as a sales associate at the Ben Sherman flag ship store in Soho, New York City. I quickly became the top sales associate company internationally. My best month was recorded at $95,000. With my interest in suits I quickly began using my skills and knowledge of gentleman's rules, tailoring and selling to become the first Suit Specialist for the company internationally.
As a Suit Specialist I was responsible for the store selling an average of 30 suits a week. I merchandised the suit section of the store to be approachable and aesthetically pleasing. I fitted and pinned each suit and organized the drop offs and pick ups for the tailor.
On occasion Ben Sherman held events. During an suiting event I would speak about the manufacturing and details of the suits. I could explain about the differences in canvasing, the difference in our styles and compare Ben Sherman suits to suits from competing companies.
